Thursday's
Child,
sales advocacy tools for people who care, is a division
of Family Resources of Rutherford County, Inc. - a private,
non-profit United Way Agency located in rural Western North
Carolina. Thursday's Child buttons and T-Shirts are produced
from original designs by Rutherford County 4th and 5th grade
school children. Each year, Family Resources' Children's
Advocacy Center sponsors a Child Abuse Prevention Button
Contest in celebration of Child Abuse Prevention Month in
April. The button contest is one of many activities sponsored
by the agency each year to offer adults and children alike
a chance to get involved and make a difference. To place
